The Roseville Utility Exploration Center is a unique regional learning facility committed to teaching sustainability in the home, school and community. Water and energy efficiency, waste reduction and watershed protection form the foundation of programs designed to entertain, educate and empower visitors to save money and resources in a fun and engaging way.
Jointly funded and operated by the City of Roseville’s utility departments, Roseville Electric and Environmental Utilities, the Utility Exploration Center boasts a 3,200 square foot exhibit hall experience designed for active community use, containing a lively combination of hands-on exhibits with a Learning Lab for school tours, demonstrations, presentations and workshops. Future plans include an outdoor extension called the IDEAscape, which will feature exhibits on water-wise landscaping, irrigation and construction innovations, solar energy, watershed protection and more.
Admission is FREE. More information about the facility, including hours of operation, images of the exhibits, free e-waste drop off and school tours can be found on the Roseville Utility Exploration Center’s webpage
